Melanie Schonfeld RAIA AffillEAust is a multi-disciplinary creative and registered architect (NSW ARB #10337) based in Warrane / Sydney, working across the fields of architecture, design and photography. Melanie’s work attempts to reflect the current period of time in a simple and refined manner — paying particular attention to the relationship an object has with its surrounding context. The experiential qualities embodied in her work arise by establishing a balance between practicality and phenomenology — by utilising the dynamic interaction between light, dark and the contrast between these two states in nature to highlight different aspects within her work to the observer.
